During my recent weekend at Pouso Familiar - Cantinho das Águas, I was enamored by the serene beauty and genuine hospitality that this charming pousada offers. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, the tranquil gardens and inviting pool provided a much-needed oasis for relaxation. The room was equipped with a comfortable bed, a strong ceiling fan, and a lovely balcony that offered delightful views of the surrounding landscape. While it is true that the pousada is a bit of a distance from the historic center of Paraty, the close proximity to the bus station makes transportation incredibly convenient for those wanting to explore. What truly stands out, however, is the warmth of the owner and his family, whose kindness shone exceptionally bright throughout our stay. They may not speak English, but their genuine desire to assist us made us feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful offerings that showcased local ingredients and left us longing for more.
